ABout the message of the cross
God's Voice Was Clear
During the spring of 2020, the Lord spoke to me with a clear message that He was preparing a special mission for me. I had absolutely no idea what He was talking about. He told me that He had been preparing me my whole life for what was about to come. I couldn't imagine what He would do next.
In November of 2020, my wife Renee was scrolling on Facebook and showed me a live feed from Pastor Todd Smith at Christ Fellowship Church in Dawsonville Ga. The live feed was of Evangelist Joel Crumpton walking down a street with a large wooden Cross and ministering to people along the way. The world was growing darker and the image of a 10ft wooden Cross walking down the street was drawing people to the Lord. I knew instantly that this was what the Lord calling me to do. I thought it would only be in the Detroit area but little did I know what He had planned.
After much prayer, I reached out to Joel Crumpton to discuss what the Lord was asking of me. Joel was so gracious to provide me the plans, guidance and wisdom to build a large Cross and what to expect. The enemy knew what was being planned and he threw many distractions and illness at me. The construction of the Cross started on June 23, 2021 and was completed exactly one month later. The Cross is built out of cedar, weighs about 65 lbs and has a prayer cloth, dipped in the baptismal waters from the North Georgia Revival and prayed over by hundreds.
Preparing For What Was About To Come
Within the first 30 days after we finished the Cross, the Lord had us take the Cross to numerous locations around the metro Detroit area. He kept revealing more and more to us everytime we took It out. At the Woodward Dream Cruise, two young boys fell to their knees and gave themselves to Jesus and my son Joey Beazley laid hands on a wheelchair bound man and he instantly jumped up and started dancing. We knew that the Cross was changing hearts and drawing people to Jesus everywhere we walked with It. What we didn't know,was that the Lord wanted the whole world to see His Cross. At the end of November 2021, there was a school shooting in Oxford Michigan and 4 young students lost their lives that day. The Lord told me to take the Cross to the community vigil. The very next day, the Cross was featured in numerous national and local news articles. The Lord told me that this Cross is the light of the world and meant for the entire world to see. Since that moment in Oxford, the Lord has taken us to countless natural and man-made disasters, and into the teeth of the enemy. The Lord has taken us to killer tornado ravished areas of Kentucky and Louisiana, Hurricane Ian, devastating floods in eastern Kentucky and the fires in Maui. He has had us minister at mass shootings in Buffalo, Uvalde Tx, Chesapeake Va, Lincoln Park Il, Allen Tx, Nashville Tn, Michigan State campus, funerals of numerous fallen officers around the country, the Supreme Court the day after Roe vs Wade was overturned and the March for Life in DC. So far the Cross has been to 25 different states. We are prepared to go wherever and whenever the Lord calls us to go. We've seen God perform miracle upon miracle virtually everywhere that we take the Cross. Our God is good all the time.
